An electrical shop relocated into an off licence across the road. Liked the lettering for Plough Electrics, also the subliminal suffix. It was only when I posted this picture that I noticed the two little downward-pointing arrows, added for emphasis.

"Come in and enjoy a drink"
A nice thought. But even if I'd have wanted to, I couldn't have.
The Old English Gentleman on Edgware Road showed no signs of life. Faded tabloids pasted to the glass windows. Flaking paint and mildewing canopies.
That crooked, curiously spaced handwritten appeal seemed all the sadder for it.
